Woman and their appearance

I then went onto photograph a mannequin as they are designed to show what the ideal women should look like. However this look somewhat superficial and a small percentage of women have this body. This was something that I have would be worth exploring with in my project. I went on photograph various parts and cropped down area which women tend to want to change. These were these area were the nose, lips abdominal etc. area which people often want to change through cosmetic surgery. I used a white backdrop again for the clinical look and also the symbolism of purity and the idea that these ideal shapes are seen be perfect and pure in the eye of the viewer. I used one light and project this light above the mannequin to try and achieve as spot light look on the subject.

Through my presentation I arranged my images in a grid format, as I said I wanted to create a series and I felt this was the best way to tell this story through my images. I feel the grid method was very much successful and in order to explore my development I would like to take images of the realist image that we have of women and also produce a series of image by arranging them in a grind also. By doing this it would allow me to compare my images and show what women what to change their bodies to and if it is achievable.

I also produce a collage of image which represent the human body. I was very much please with both outcomes and wished to used these image for her final piece.
